Jessica (once again) was interviewed. This time it’s HollywoodLife.com. Our star speaks about upcoming season 5 of 90210.
Jessica Stroup is a busy girl these days. Along with promoting her upcoming movie Ted — she hints that her character has an underlying crush on the titular bear — she’s also embarking on a new partnership with AXE Hair. But her hectic schedule pales in comparison to the whirlwind life of her 90210 persona Silver, and Jessica was happy to give HollywoodLife.com the scoop on what’s to come in season five.
Which guy will she choose? How will getting pregnant change her life? And which former 90210-er does she want back? Read on, my friends.
What was your reaction when you found out Teddy was coming back to knock up Silver?
I didn’t even know for a long time. They didn’t tell us. I guess the producers and the showrunners don’t trust us to keep stories out of the press. They wouldn’t tell me who it was going to be, but when they did, I was thrilled. [Trevor Donovan is] one of the coolest guys I’ve gotten to work with, so the fact that he’s coming back next year is really exciting. I’m happy about that.
Jessica was interviewed by Zachary Swickey from MTV Newsroom. She talked about her role in Ted, new projects and Mila Kunis. Full interview below:
Actress Jessica Stroup is best known for playing Erin Silver on “90210” – The CW’s revitalization of ’90s fave “Beverly Hills, 90210 – and being a modern day scream queen after starring in a string of horror flicks: “Prom Night”, “Vampire Bats” and “The Hills Have Eyes 2”. Stroup’s latest role, however, comes in a comedy and it’s a high-profile one at that – “Family Guy” Guy creator Seth MacFarlane’s feature directorial debut, “Ted”, hitting theaters June 29.
The kind folks at AXE Hair have partnered with the film and hooked MTV News up with Stroup for a quick phone chat about her new role, the R-rated nature of the flick and what’s goin’ on in the 90210.
So tell us about your character in ‘Ted.’ You’re Mila’s co-worker/gal-pal in the movie, correct?
Yes. Well, there’s a lot of underlying storyline with my character. It was more about the fact that Seth MacFarlane is one of my best friends and I knew he was coming up with this idea for this project and I just wanted to be involved however I could. So, I got to go up to Boston for a month and watch them film and got to play a little part. It’s definitely one of the funniest scripts and movies I’ve seen in a while.
What was it like working with Kunis and the rest of the hilarious cast (Mark Wahlberg, Joel McHale, Patrick Warburton, Giovanni Ribisi)?
Mila is just such a normal, down-to-earth, chill, cool girl and we were already friends. So it was a good experience to hang out with her in her downtime. But watching Seth, Mark, Patrick, Joel and Giovanni was inspiring you know? You get around kind of a boy’s club and you’re dancing around getting let in or whatever, but I got really close with a lot of the writers and with Seth being a good friend, he would just let me sit behind him and watch him at work. I had to do everything I could to contain my laughter and not get kicked off the set.

Jessica was interviewed by Celeb Style at RevolveClothing and Roman Luxe Party (photos). She spoke about her style. The whole article below:
What we appreciate about Jessica Stroup’s style is that you can’t really pin it down. One day she looks supergirlie, the other rocker chic, and the next ultrasophisticated. We got a chance to catch up with the actress at last night’s RevolveClothing and Roman Luxe party, where she wore this fabulous Karla Deras x Roman Luxe python triangle necklace ($88) with a leather-sleeved blazer and neon-yellow miniskirt (far left). Seeing as how we were at a jewelry party, we had to know about her jewelry personality. “Eclectic, funky, less is more, minimal. I chopped all my hair off, and it completely changed my idea of jewelry,” Jessica told us. “I love wearing drop earrings, long earrings, but I didn’t do it as much with the short hair, so I got really big into rings and bracelets.” She added: “My favorite ring in the world is this moon ring I got when I was 4 years old. It’s adjustable. I like pieces that mean something to me.”
So if we were to open up her closet, what are some of the essential things we would see? “Number one right now, overalls. I’m killing the overall look,” Jessica spilled, adding that it’s because she’s moving into a new house. “Moroccan scarves. I’ve got a lot of Moroccan things that I brought back. Lot of tennis shoes. Really big into athletics, so I love tennis shoes. And a lot of random t-shirts that I bought when I was 17 that I still sleep in and wear around. Otherwise, jackets — I have a zillion jackets.“
